Jens Amborg awarded multi-year grant as a Wenner-Gren Fellow

Jens Amborg has been awarded a multi-year grant as a Wenner-Gren Fellow. The project is titled Veterinary Colonialism: Animals, Knowledge, and Environment in the Eighteenth-Century French Empire. Jens will spend his first three years at the Department of History at Brown University in Providence. He will then have the opportunity to return to us as a researcher for two years. The grant also includes funding for a postdoctoral researcher within the project during the two years spent in Uppsala.
