Project Description

The aim of the programme is two-folded: to research the history of Swedish science in the modern era, and to help develop the professional community of Swedish historians of science. A common focus is the history of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. The Academy has been central for the development of Swedish science and for the relationship between science and forces of political change throughout the modern period. It is hosted by the Center for the History of Science at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. For more information, see this page.
