Major differences between Swedish municipalities in trust and security
A new tool called Gemenskapsbarometern (the Community Barometer) is now being launched, which investigates security and trust at municipal and urban district level. The report reveals clear differences in how much people trust one another in different parts of the country. For example, social trust in Ronneby, a town in the far south of Sweden, is half as high as in the northern city of Umeå.
