Collaboration at Institute for Housing and Urban Research

At IBF, there is extensive experience in collaborating with actors from the public sector, business and civil society on a local and national level. In addition to providing research of the highest international quality, our goal is to be an obvious partner for critical and constructive collaboration with the surrounding society within our thematic areas.

The ambition is illustrated, among other things, through our collaborative agreements and strategic partnerships within the university and with actors such as Uppsala Municipality, the National Confederation of Tenants' Associations (Hyresgästföreningen) and Länsförsäkringars Forskningsfond, as well as through our recurring "Bostadsmöten" and digital breakfast seminars. Our researchers often participate as lecturers and experts in national as well as local and regional contexts.
