Abstract: FSI (Fluid-Solid Interaction) models describe the coupled dynamics of diverse classes of problems. Mathematically they are described by PDE systems of hyperbolic and parabolic type. The simplest example is the so-called heat-wave system. In this talk I will discuss constructions of periodic solutions to this heat-wave system by obtaining a priori estimates. They rely on geometric constraints manifested on the wave domain, which are a reminiscent of classical boundary control conditions for wave stability.
