Dr Hannah Byrne

Hannah Byrne is a vertebrate palaeontologist who studies the poorly understood biotic turnover across the Devonian-Carboniferous boundary. She has gained experience with numerical tidal modelling in the context of the fish-tetrapod transition and currently uses synchrotron imaging to reconstruct Late Devonian and Early Carboniferous faunal assemblages from Greenland. Hannah is affiliated with the project through her expertise with overlapping localities and key taxa.
Dr Hannah Byrne is Researcher at the Programme of Evolution and Development with the Department of Organismal Biology of Uppsala University in Sweden. Her departmental webpage can be found here
