Dr Henning Blom

Team member Blom

Henning Blom is a vertebrate and environmental palaeontologist who studies the environmental constraints, geographical setting, and faunal dynamics surrounding the water-to-land transition of early tetrapods. During five field seasons in East Greenland, he secured valuable new materials and insights on ecosystem compositions surrounding the pivotal faunal turnover that defines the Devonian-Cretaceous boundary. These crucial fossils are housed at the Museum of Evolution at Uppsala University in Sweden.

Dr Henning Blom is Associate Professor at the Programme of Evolution and Development with the Department of Organismal Biology of Uppsala University in Sweden. His departmental webpage can be found here
