Exhibitions at the Gustavianum

The Gustavianum will reopen on June 24, 2024 following extensive renovations. Among other things, the museum's indoor climate has been improved so that fragile objects can be both displayed and preserved for the future. The installation of new technology has made the Gustavianum a modern museum in an old building. The collections are presented in a series of new exhibitions, with a wide range of scholars contributing stories about the objects in exhibition texts, audio guides, screens, and printed catalogues.
