To enable Sweden and the world to achieve ambitious energy and climate goals within a relatively short timeframe, major changes to today’s energy system are required. Regardless of the path development takes, more knowledge, expertise, and solutions are needed to ensure that the society of the future becomes fossil-free, resilient, and competitive. At the Swedish Energy Agency’s competence centers, the knowledge and capabilities are developed that make it possible to meet complex societal challenges and that contribute to secure energy supply, strengthened Swedish competitiveness, and an economically efficient climate transition.
