The International Centre for Evidence-Based Criminal Law (EB-CRIME) is a network of researchers from different scientific disciplines that collaborate in research projects about evidence in criminal cases. The research aims to facilitate evidence-based evaluations and decision making by, for example, police officers, prosecutors, forensic medical doctors and judges EB-CRIME is funded by the Swedish Research Council.

In six subprojects we examine evidence types that are associated with challenges for decision makers in criminal jurisdictions worldwide, such as oral statements, digital evidence and molecular diagnostic.

Contribute to our research
As EB-CRIME researchers we are always interested in getting in touch with anyone who wants to contribute to the EB-CRIME research. This can entail, for example, writing a master thesis or similar. Also, if you are interested in doing research yourself, e.g. as a PhD or post doc, do not hesitate to get in touch.
