Pricing

U-PRINT's prices for internal users apply to projects connected to Swedish universities, public hospitals, and regional operations. U-PRINT's prices for external users apply to projects connected to companies, individuals, and international universities. Projects related to the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy at Uppsala University are prioritized.

Internal users

Stereolithography prints:

• Material costs: Standard resins from 10 SEK/ml (clear, white, grey, and black).
• Material costs: Specialty resins (prices available upon request).
• Printing time: Depending on the equipment, from 35 SEK/h.
• Print start: 250 SEK (a project can include multiple starts).

FDM prints:

• Material costs: Depending on the material used from 1.5 SEK/g. Currently available filaments: PLA, ABS, TPU, Nylon, PC, PVA, co-polyesters, carbon-fiber composites. Other materials are available upon request.
• Printing time: Depending on the equipment, from 35 SEK/h
• Print start: 250 SEK (a project can include multiple starts)
  

Design, CAD, consulting, and post-processing*:

All these activities are charged at a rate of 400 SEK/h (one hour of consulting is included free of charge for every project).

Bioprinting:

If you are interested in printing hydrogels we have both extrusion and stereolithography based-technologies for bioprinting, please send us an email.

External users

Stereolithography prints:

• Material costs: Standard resins from 20 SEK/ml (clear, white, grey, and black).
• Material costs: Specialty resins (prices available upon request).
• Printing time: Depending on the equipment, from 70 SEK/h
• Print start: 500 SEK (a project can include multiple starts)

FDM prints:

• Material costs: Depending on the material used from 3 SEK/g. Currently available filaments: PLA, ABS, TPU, Nylon, PC, PVA, co-polyesters, carbon-fiber composites. Other materials are available upon request.
• Printing time: Depending on the equipment, from 70 SEK/h
• Print start: 500 SEK (a project can include multiple starts)

All these activities are charged at a rate of 800 SEK/h
