Change of parking provider
From 23 March 2026, Akademiska Hus has a new parking management provider. Smart Parkering AB, rather than the previous provider Aimo Park, are responsible for parking operations at car parks owned by Akademiska Hus.
Payment is made via the company’s own app, SmartPark, by text message or via Easypark (an administration fee of 15% is charged via Easypark).
To park in spaces where a special permit is required, you must prove that you are an employee of Uppsala University. This is done via a digital sticker, which you can purchase using a code issued via MI whilst logged in.

Please note! Previous paper parking permits are invalid from 23 March, and you risk a fine if you use them without the digital sticker.

By car and parking
Car park
Parking spaces are available immediately outside the entrance on von Kraemers allé 2 and at the goods reception on von Kramers allé 4. These require parking permits that employees can collect from the Service Centre. For temporary visitors to the building, there is also a parking permit that is valid for the day.
Tickets can be purchased in the Aimo app until March 22. From this date onwards the ticket is purchased via SmartPark.
Additional car parks are available in the immediate area around Blåsenhus and Campus 1477. Please note that some spaces are intended for company cars and for rechargeable cars that need access to the charging posts.
Electric car
Akademiska Hus in collaboration with the charging company ChargeNode Europé AB offers employees access to four electric car chargers. These are located in the car park at the goods reception (von Kraemers allé 4). There are also public EV chargers at Campus 1477 and behind Blåsenhus. You can access charging through the company's app, see ChargeNode.
A parking permit is also needed in the front window at these car parks. When the car is fully charged, it is good if it is moved to regular parking so that other employees have access to the charging posts.
Taxi
The pick-up address for taxis is von Kraemers allé 2. Exit from the restaurant on level K1 towards Blåsenhus.
By bus
The nearest bus stops are Segerstedthuset (Dag Hammarskjölds väg) or Blåsenhus (Norbyvägen).
Timetables and latest information can be found at Uppsala Länstrafik.
By bike
Bicycle parking is available outside the main entrances towards Dag Hammarskjölds väg and von Kraemers allé 2. There are 236 spaces including 10 charging posts for electric bicycles. Please note that the bicycle battery may not be charged in the Segerstedt building.
Bicycle sheds are located in the Blåsenhus courtyard. Contact the reception in Blåsenhus to rent a place.
For the best cycle route, see Uppsala municipality's cycle map.
Smoking
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited outside the Segerstedt building in places other than those designated for this purpose. There are litter bins with cigarette extinguishers on top;
- Between the bike racks and the patio at von Kraemers allé 2 entrance (towards level K1)
- At the car parks outside the goods reception at von Kraemers allé 4
Please note that in these places there is a smoke-free zone 15 metres from the building. This applies in all weather conditions. It is also not allowed to use e-cigarettes other than outdoors.
