The organisational contexts shape the conditions for conducting multi- and interdisciplinary research and education. These are themes researched, discussed in action plans, explored when considering organisational reforms.

The purpose with this seminar is to discuss various aspects related to how the organisation of research and education shapes the conditions for multi- and interdisciplinary research.
- What can it mean in practice for career paths, funding etc.?
- How does the organising of research influence the possibilities for cross-cutting conversations?
- How can we critically appraise concrete efforts to change the organisational conditions for multi- and interdisciplinarity? How are the problems framed? What, if anything is missing, What image of the university do they contribute to?
