CDHU AI Lab

The Uppsala AI Lab is a collaborative research platform at the CDHU. The lab focuses on humanities and social science research relating to artificial intelligence (AI) and brings together several national and international AI-related research projects as well as researchers who are working with CDHU and the Department of ALM.

The AI Lab involves a socio-material infrastructure comprising of several research engineers with expertise in several aspects and applications of artificial intelligence, such as:

Image processing
Natural language processing
Optical character recognition
Handwritten text recognition
Generative AI
