Programming with ChatGPT: Coffee Edition

In this seminar/workshop, we will explore the programming capabilities of ChatGPT. First an overview of LLMs such as ChatGPT will be presented, followed by an example of how to use ChatGPT to generate code to analyze data. The case in question will be centered around finding the optimal conditions for brewing coffee. After a fika break, participants are welcome to explore programming with ChatGPT on their own so please bring your laptops.
This is an introductory session to programming with AI, primarily for researchers and PhD students who plan to use programming in their work, but lack a formal background in programming. Facilitator: Johan Snider (Dept. of Information Technology), PhD student in computing education research
