Guest PhD researcher: Samuel Matlombe
Samuel Matlombe is a PhD student and lecturer at the Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM) in Mozambique. During 2023/2024 he is also a visiting PhD student at the Centre for Gender Research.

What is your research about?
My main research interest is teaching-learning methods, and gender. My doctoral work is titled “Research-based learning and gender in higher education in Mozambique: A case study of the Faculty of Education at UEM".
Before my PhD I was a physics teacher in pre-university education for 20 years. I have also been teaching statistics for over 10 years on the psychology course at the Faculty of Education, at Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM).
