Study at the Centre for Gender Research
Gender studies explores power relations, gender norms, and how gender intersects with, for example, sexuality, ethnicity, and class. Expertise in gender studies is needed in many different professions in the business world and the public sector.
At the Centre for Gender Research you can study Gender Studies on undergraduate and advanced levels. Our undergraduate programme and courses are all held in Swedish, but our Master's programme and courses are taught in English. The Centre also has a PhD programme in Gender Studies.
Undergraduate level
At the undergraduate level we offer our Bachelor's Programme in Social Sustainability, the coursers Gender Studies A, B and C, and distance learning courses.
Advanced level
At the advanced level we offer a Master's programme in Gender Studies, or freestanding courses on various topics.
PhD programme
The PhD programme in Gender Studies comprises of four years full-time study, including courses and an independent research project.
