Research at the Centre for Image Analysis
Overview of Image Analysis related research affiliated with the Centre for Image Analysis
Research Area
The Centre for Image Analysis (CBA) creates, through collaborative activities, a research environment that facilitates high-quality interdisciplinary research to advance image analysis and perceptualization, with AI as an essential component.
Our researchers lead, and participate in a large number of research projects, ranging from fundamental method development, to application-tailored development and testing in, for example, biomedicine. Our interdisciplinary collaborations with researchers in social sciences and humanities include projects on, e.g., handwritten text recognition and analysis. Development of methods for perceptualisation relies on research combining computer graphics, haptics, and image processing.
The CBA is hosted by the Department of Information Technology. Information about Image Analysis research within the department can be found here.
