Following up on the idea to organize a joint tissue registration challenge/hackathon, we are happy to present the 2026 CBA Collaborative Image Registration Challenge.
We intend for this image registration challenge to be in the format of a collaborative challenge, where we during the next few weeks try to solve some difficult tasks together, rather than the more usual competition style challenge.
We envision this as a chance to put our knowledge together to solve a few challenging problems on real data, and in doing so, we facilitate building a common knowledge base which we all can benefit from.
In this CBA Seminar slot, we will present the gist of the challenge, discuss the timeline, and present the image registration problems involved.
