Internships

Every year, we welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds to complete their internships with us. Recently, we have hosted master students in Global Health and Psychology, as well as PhD students through the EU-funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Networks and the EU-funded Erasmus+ exchange programme.

As an intern, you get to participate in an ongoing research project. Your work tasks will vary depending on the type of project you are involved in. Examples of tasks include conducting literature searches, recruiting study participants, collecting and analyzing data, assisting with administrative tasks, and arranging scientific meetings. An internship with us may provide an opportunity to contribute as a co-author on a scientific article.

We train interns in the research methods used in the current project and interns receive regular supervision, usually weekly and are invited to our seminar series and scientific events. Carrying out your internship with us means that you will have a great opportunity to expand your network, both within U-CARE and our research group and with our external collaborators.

You have the opportunity to do your internship within our research group CIRCLE for varying durations, ranging from a few weeks to an entire semester. Whenever possible, we provide a workspace in our office at Uppsala Science Park.
