Finding the UHGS
The Centre for Holocaust and Genocide Research is housed at the Uppsala University Campus English Park – Centre for the Humanities, west (southwest) of Uppsala city, behind Carolina Library and the Carolina Park (The English Park). The premises, with the street address Thunbergsvägen 3B, is three floors up (Floor 3) in what is referred to as Building 1 in the Campus block overview.
On foot from the city and via Carolina Rediviva Library you reach the stairs of Entrance 3 B directly from the Carolina Park via the courtyard at Building 1
Car parking is available behind Building 1.
Accessibility
Elevators and full stairfree access is from Entrance 3 B. Please contact us or the English park Expedition for special wishes or needs in connection to lectures or visits prior to arrival (contact details below).
Lecture rooms
Our main lecture room, The Hugo Valentin Room (Room ENG 1-1042), is located in the same building at the first floor.
