Erik Rein-Hedin is an industry-based doctoral student at the Department of Surgical Sciences. Erik has acted as principal investigator on clinical trials in all clinical phases but is mainly dedicated to Phase I trials, including first-in-human. His research project aims to help improve design and conduct of early phase clinical trials in healthy volunteer subjects.
