Short presentation
My research is on the topic of skeletal development in jawed vertebrates. I use the zebrafish (Danio rerio) as a model organism to investigate the expression, regulation, and function of some key genes involved in cartilage development, focusing on craniofacial elements like the jaw, but also looking at other anatomical structures such as the vertebrae and fins.
