Short presentation
I completed my PhD in March 2026. I currently work as a clinical dietitian at Uppsala University Hospital, a professional development lead for hospital dietitians, and a researcher. Our future projects will explore how nutritional status is assessed and monitored after burn injury, and examine methods and experiences of nutritional care during hospitalisation and recovery.
Affiliated with Physiotherapy and Behavioral Medicine and a member of the Burn Center research and development group.

Research
In my PhD-project we focused on the role of nutrition after burn injury. We investigated nutritional treatment strategies in relation to guidelines post-burn injury and the prevalence of nutrition impact symtoms after a burn injury. We found low adherence to guidelines and low adequacy of intake compared to individual goals, particulary after minor burns. Barriers to nutritional therapy were common.
