Short presentation

I am a researcher at the Department of Scandinavian Languages focusing on Swedish as a second language. In my research I study vocabulary acquisition in newly arrived immigrant youths in the Language Introduction Program. I developed two vocabulary tests and collected data from 250 participants. I study the effects of background factors on vocabulary learning, especially looking at different educational and linguistic backgrounds.
