Research

I am involved in a project funded by the Swedish School Research Institute on using models to teach sustainable development in social studies and science and have just completed an interdisciplinary project on source criticism and source trust, also funded by the Swedish School Research Institute.

As network leader for the SO network at the Stockholm Teaching and Learning Study, I have previously run a research project on visual representations in social studies teaching, which was funded by the national ULF project for the development of research collaboration between academia and schools, and several smaller teaching development projects with a didactic focus on SO.

In addition, within Uppsala University's regional ULF research (RUF), I run a project developing a framework for non-polarising classroom discussions on controversial issues.
