Short presentation
As a Ph.D. student in Molecular Epidemiology, supervised by Dr. Tove Fall, we explore the association of cardiovascular risk factors, namely physical activity and sleep apnea, with the human gut microbiota composition. We also interested on the effect on the gut microbiota of previous antibiotic use based on national register data. In our studies, we use traditional statistical and epidemiology tool, as well as methods for composition data and causal inference using Mendelian Randomization.
