Short presentation
Regulatory mechanisms and 3D organisation of skeletal tissues during development and evolution of vertebrates
The main research focus of my group is to investigate how genes and regulatory DNA contribute to the 3D organization of tissues during vertebrate development and evolution with a specific focus on skeletal joints, as well as connective and mineralized tissues.
Keywords
- zebrafish
- crispr-cas9 genome editing
- molecular evolution of genes and regulatory sequences
- 3d microstructure of mineralized and soft tissues
- development and evolution
