Short presentation
My research focuses on the atmospheric boundary layer, with main interest in
marine/coastal zone and lake systems. A main theme is the investigation of processes controlling the exchange of energy and greenhouse gases between the water surface and the atmosphere. Better understanding of these relatively small-scale processes is important for several applications, e.g. improved simulation of wind climate over seas and ocean uptake of carbon dioxide.
