Short presentation
Oscar Verho obtained his PhD in 2014 from the group of Prof. Jan-Erling Bäckvall, and became Assocatie Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry in 2022. His research focuses on the design of new synthetic methodologies that can facilitate the synthesis of bioactive molecules and aid research in chemical biology and drug discovery. This involves research in both novel electrocatalyzed C-H functionalization metholodogies as well as DNA-encoded libraries.
