Short presentation

I am a researcher in epidemiology specializing in physical activity. I work in Dr. Hannah Brooke’s research group studying cancer and diabetes, and I lead my own project on physical activity and dementia.

I am also affiliated with The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH), where my work focuses more on the effects of physical activity or nutrition on cognitive task-related changes in cortical hemodynamic function, using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS).

Teaching

I teach at the bachelor, master, and PhD level in epidemiology, and I am co-course leader for the PhD course in Medical Epidemiology at Uppsala University. I also teach basic biostatistics at the master’s level. I supervise bachelor, master, and PhD students in their research projects.
