Biography

Dr Ray Whitcher (He/Him) is an Adjunct Lecturer of Game Graphics at Uppsala University's (Sweden) Game Design Department. His research is focused on Methodology Advocacy for the use of Creative Exegesis as a base platform for creative research, with micro-case studies based upon his work in intermedial comic making. Within the Game Design Department, Ray teaches across the spectrum of Game Design, from character design, animation and representation through Motion Capture performance and supervision of both undergraduate and postgraduate degree projects. Ray has illustrated for several respected brands, including Star Wars, Nissan and DC, as well as animated music videos for a range of international clients, including Shinedown, Corey Taylor, Marshmello and Yungblud. @raywhitcher on Instagram.
