Short presentation
I am a PhD student interested in political and social theory and in international political economy.
My research explores the politics of the “society of owners”, that is, a societal ideal based upon widespread property-ownership. In particular, I am interested in the persisting belief that widespread property-ownership can generate a virtuous and stability-oriented citizenry, and that it can work as a deterrent against political radicalism.
Biography
- BA in Political Science, Uppsala University
- Masters studies in History, Anthropology and Critical Theory, University of Bologna
- 2023-2024 Fulbright Visiting Student Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania.
In the spring semester 2025, I will be a visiting researcher at the European University Institute in Florence.
