I am Epidemiologist and Bio-statistician and I am working as a researcher in Cancer Precision Medicine. My research focus on late effects in survivors of Mantle Cell Lymphoma.

Biography

With modern treatments strategies, mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) patients may experience long-lasting remission resulting in a growing population of long-term survivors. Follow-up care includes identification and management of late effects, such as secondary malignancies, infections, cardiac disease etc.

The long-term morbidity and final cause of death for MCL patients is understudied, nowadays when novel targeted treatments have entered the treatment options. With my strong background in Epidemiology, Bio-Statistics and Biology, my job consists on designing studies, developing SAPs, programming, performe data analyses and manuscript writing using high quality population-based registers in Sweden.

The aim of my research is to contribute to the identification of the risk factors of late effects in MCL patients and globally in lymphoma patients for a better quality of life after lymphoma.
