My reseach is precision dosing for Leishmaniasis, getting the right dose to the right patient considering their age, demographics and comorbidities. I work with Miltefosine, the only oral drug approved for the treatment of leishmaniasis, and a great deal of my reseach focuses in pediatrics. Through my reseach I aspire to impact dosing guidelines and provide caretakers in the areas where this disease is present with the right tools to decrease the burden.
