Biography

My research focuses on the role of teachers as input in human capital formation. In my doctoral thesis, I study how teachers’ work environments, teaching practice, style and mentoring roles affect both student outcomes and teacher well-being. Using quasi-experimental designs and administrative data, my work provides causal evidence on the effects of teaching styles, student composition, and teacher–parent engagement on cognitive and non-cognitive outcomes.

My research seeks to inform education and labor market policies, emphasizing the role of teachers as educators and workers to promote more effective and sustainable educational systems.
