I am a fourth-year PhD candidate, conducting interdisciplinary research by combining the fields of gender research, critical military studies, and wearable robotics.

I also participate in the research group Technologization of the Everyday.

Biography

Academic Background

I received the degrees Master of Arts (2021) & Master of Social Science (2020) in the fields of Gender Studies and Gender Studies - Intersectionality and Change in Sweden. My Bachelor of Arts (2019) was in Gender and Diversity at an international University of Applied Sciences in Germany, where I completed a semester abroad at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia (2018). During my bachelor's time, I worked as a student assistant at the German Association for Peace and Conflict Research and took part in organising the annual AFK Colloquia in 2017 and 2019.

Research

In my PhD project Exoskeletons as Artefacts: A Feminist Exploration and Critique, I aim to research exoskeletons as relational artefacts and investigate how gender is inscribed within exoskeletons, how gender is done with and through them, and how such artefacts might be then theorised and conceptualised.
