Short presentation
I am a doctoral candidate in sociology of religion, studying young Jewish experience and practice in contemporary Sweden. My research interests focus on young people, lived religion, and majority–minority relations in secular and plural societies. My work speaks to broader questions of social cohesion, inclusion, and how young adults create meaning and belonging in contexts shaped by rapid social change.

Research
My dissertation examines how young Jews in Sweden, both affiliated and unaffiliated, practice and negotiate Jewishness in everyday life, drawing on lived religion and practice theory. Through in-depth interviews and participant observation across Sweden, I analyze how Jewishness is understood and lived in a highly secular, individualist, and digital society shaped by growing cultural and religious diversity.
