Short presentation
Karl Walentin is Professor of Economics at Uppsala University, and a board member of the (Swedish) Fiscal Policy Council. His research is within macroeconomics, mainly related to business cycles, immigration, macro-labor and macro-housing. Currently, he is using both structural models and large datasets to analyze how monetary policy affects the economy.
