Short presentation
I am a PhD candidate at the department since 2024. My research revolves around imaginaries and ideas of how we are supposed to eat during crises, in war as in peace time, and how our imaginaries of food interact with security politics. Methodlogically, I predominantly draw on interpretivist and historical methods.
The dissertation project is a part of the research project "What will we eat? Food as security politics in Sweden 1900-2025", funded by the Swedish Research Council, 2024-2027.

Biography
My background is as a practitioner in preparedness and total defence and I have worked several years with Swedish crisis management in action.
I teach qualitative and interpretivist methods at the Master's level and in international politics, with a focus on critical theory, at the Bachelor's level.
Aside from my research, I am also the chairwoman of the non-profit organisation Femme Defence, which works for gender equality in the Swedish defence and security sector through the empowering of young women and their leadership.
