Biography
I am a senior lecturer, licensed psychologist, licensed psychotherapist, and certified specialist in psychological treatment/psychotherapy by the Swedish Psychological Association.
Research
My primary research interest lies in psychological treatments for various psychiatric disorders. To date, together with a colleague, I have developed an internet-delivered psychodynamic treatment that has been evaluated for adolescent depression, adult social anxiety disorder, and as a transdiagnostic treatment for adults suffering from anxiety and/or depression. Research studies investigating the efficacy of this treatment are currently ongoing in Germany, Norway, Sweden, and England.
I am also involved in three projects conducted in naturalistic settings, examining the effects of affect-focused psychodynamic treatments for young adults and patients with different psychiatric disorders treated within specialized psychiatric care.
