Short presentation

My name is Daniel, and I am a Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering Management.

As for my education, I completed a BA in Latin American Studies (Stockholm University) and an MSc in International and European Relations (Linköping University).

Research

My research project focuses on increasing flexibility and using the grid more efficiently to enable electrification and greater use of renewable energy, with a particular focus on the island of Gotland. Thus, I investigate how demand-side flexibility can be realized on Gotland by focusing on users' perspectives. This involves interviewing key stakeholders who influence Gotland's energy system to gain a systemic view of the enablers and constraints.
