Short presentation

In my research, I study how social comparison in schools, shaped by academic performance and socioeconomic background, influences mental health and well-being across adolescence and adulthood. I focus on the social mechanisms through which relative position within social and academic hierarchies affects mental health outcomes, including diagnosed conditions. I use Swedish survey and administrative register data to study these relations.
