Short presentation
I am a research assistant at the research programme U-CARE and the research group CIRCLE, specifically in the research projects CHANGE-pilot and GuardiansCan/ACT-ALL.
Aside from these research projects, I also coordinate U-CARE's seminar series, U-CARE BrainPub, and the group's Journal Club.
The aim of U-CARE is to improve psychological wellbeing among patients and close ones living with somatic disease. Read more on U-CARE's website.

Biography
My background consists of a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in global mental health from the University of Glasgow (2018-2023). I then started working as a research assistant at UU where my work consisted of coordinating the research project CHANGE-pilot's parent advisory board.
Since then I have worked with writing ethics applications, modifying a low-intensity CBT intervention, preparing for a randomised controlled pilot trial, and I have become responsible for various administrative tasks such as coordinating some of the group's activities (U-CARE BrainPub, Journal Club) as well as the research group's quarterly reports.
Additionally, I attended the Edinburgh Clinical Trial Management Course in October 2025 which helped me develop my skills in preparation for the CHANGE-pilot trial.
Research
The CHANGE-pilot trial, which is part of the research programme ParentsCan, will test a self-help intervention for parents of persons treated for cancer during childhood. I coordinate an advisory board of parents who we collaborate with throughout the whole trial.
