My research interests lie in the philosophy of right, property relations, and ecological governance, with a particular focus on how the legal form structure relations to land, nature, and natural resources.

The courses I teach are:

Biography

I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Government, Uppsala University, where I have been based since September 2025.

I hold a Master's degree in Environmental Politics from Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Uppsala University, and a Bachelor's degree in International Law from the Swedish Defence University.

Prior to beginning my doctoral studies, I worked at the School of Global Studies at the University of Gothenburg on research concerning Sámi land rights and legal mobilization in Sápmi. I have also worked as a researcher at opsci in Paris, France and at NOD (National office for dialogue and consultation between the government and the civil society) in Stockholm.

Research

My research focuses on the role of legal forms and property relations in the organisation and transformation of social and political orders. In particular, I am interested in how legal forms enable or constrain different ways of relating to land, nature, and natural resources, as well as how these questions intersect with colonialism, Indigenous rights, dispossession, and ecological governance.
