I am a PhD student in the Accounting and Finance research group of the Department of Business Studies at the Uppsala University. I am also part of the Doctoral Board of Uppsala University, as the Event Manager.

Prior to that, I was a lecturer at the Department of Business Administration of University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Consultant at the Postgraduate Institute of Management in Sri Lanka.

Biography

I hold an MBA (Merit Pass, Gold Medalist for Best Performance, Valedictorian) from the Postgraduate Institute of Management of University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and a BSc in Business Administration (First-Class, an official participant in the Monash University Study Tour) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. I also hold professional educational qualifications, such as being an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), while holding a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK).

As an early-career researcher, I bring a strong research background across both quantitative and qualitative domains, including a publication in the Leadership & Organization Development Journal (Scopus-Q1), a case study in a Scopus-listed publication, in addition to other journal articles and conference publications.
