Short presentation
I am a Research Assistant at Uppsala University working in synthetic biology and metabolic engineering. My primary research focuses on cyanobacterial strain improvement using high-throughput screening approaches. I also contribute to the development and optimization of different aspects of microbial production processes. My research aims to advance sustainable approaches for industrial ammonia production using cyanobacteria.
Biography
I began my academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Biology at UGA, Grenoble in France. During my studies, I came to Sweden as an Erasmus student at Uppsala University and decided to continue my academic journey here, completing a Master's degree in Applied Biotechnology.
During my Master's, I became increasingly interested in synthetic biology through my involvement in the Uppsala 2025 iGEM team, where I had the opportunity to explore the field from both a research and interdisciplinary perspective. I subsequently joined my current research group for my Master's thesis, focusing on cyanobacterial biotechnology and sustainable production. Following the completion of my thesis, I continued in the group as a Research Assistant.
Today, my research lies at the intersection of synthetic biology and metabolic engineering, with a primary focus on cyanobacterial strain improvement and the development of sustainable approaches for industrial ammonia production.
