Research

The epigenome has been well characterized in bulk samples from normal and cancerous tissues; however, the epigenetic landscape remains incompletely understood at single-cell resolution. My goal is to develop spatially resolved technologies to map the landscape of epigenetic variation in healthy tissues and to decipher how the interplay between epigenetic heterogeneity and genetic mutations contributes to cancer progression.
