Jag är anställd som universitetslektor vid Institutionen för kostvetenskap och undervisar om kostundersökningssmetoder, näringslära, nutritionsepidemiologi och folkhälsonutrition.
Jag är ansluten som forskare vid Institutionen för Kirurgiska vetenskaper och forskargruppen Medicinsk epidemiologi - Uppsala universitet (uu.se) Jag är främst intresserad av kopplingen mellan kostmönster, livsmedel och näringsämnen och utveckling av kroniska välfärdssjukdomar och främst benhälsa.

Jag har i grunden en magisterexamen i medicinsk vetenskap, biomedicin och min avhandling skrev jag inom medicinsk vetenskap, nutrition. Sedan december 2017 är jag docent i medicinsk epidemiologi. Allt på Uppsala universitet. Jag gjorde min post-doc på University of Wollongong i Australien. Innan jag började arbeta som lektor vid institutionen för kostvetenskap arbetade jag på Livsmedelsverket i 10 år och främst då med de nationella matvaneundersökningarna.
Jag satt mellan 2019 och 2023 i arbetsgruppen för revideringen av de Nordiska näringsrekommendationerna.
