Preserving Archival Information

About the project

The heading 'Preserving Archival Information' works as an umbrella for a series of studies with a common theme. From different perspectives, they examine what information is preserved in the archives in the long term. This includes articles on appraisal in public archival institutions, as well as studies on extremely long-term preservation of information about nuclear waste. The latter topic also connects to studies on archivists’ perceptions of time and the relationship between archives and memory.
